Tami Zalewski, Eng ’85 retired as a colonel from the U.S. Army after 22 years of active service. Her last assignment was at Army Forces Command, Fort Bragg, N.C., where she was chief of medical operations, responsible for deploying medical personnel and units worldwide.

Julie (Posway) Hartmann, PT ’85 received the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association Excellence in Geriatrics Award. She is an assistant professor in the doctor of physical therapy program at Gannon University in Erie, Pa.
Mary Ellen Podmolik, Jour ’85, was named associate managing editor/business at the Chicago Tribune. She joined the paper in 2008 as a business reporter and columnist specializing in housing and real estate and was promoted in 2015 to deputy business editor. She previously worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, Daily Southtown and Kokomo (Ind.) Tribune.
