Maria Novotny, Arts ’09 is an assistant professor of English at the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. She received a doctorate in writing and rhetoric from Michigan State University. Her research examines the rhetoric of infertility. She is also co-director of The ART of Infertility grassroots advocacy organization.

Walter Bond, Arts ’09 was named executive director of Teach For America, Milwaukee region. He joined TFA in 2009 as a teacher and administrator in Washington D.C., and is now responsible for a network of more than 500 TFA corps members.
