
Amy Estlund, H Sci ’99 earned her doctorate in public health studies from St. Louis University in December 2016. She works as a research specialist at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Her research and work aim to increase access to contraception and health services and address social determinants of health, specifically with adolescents, young adults and LGBT populations. She previously received a masters of public health from Emory University in Atlanta and worked for eight years in nonprofit, before transitioning to research and academia. She, her partner and their daughter Jude, 5, live in the St. Louis area.
