Bill Taylor, Eng ’56, authored a biography of Richard Halliburton, A Shooting Star Meets the Well of Death: Why and How Richard Halliburton Conquered the World. He was one of three Wisconsin writers chosen to present a book at the New Berlin (Wis.) Public Library.
