Mary Ellen Podmolik, Jour ’85, was named associate managing editor/business at the Chicago Tribune. She joined the paper in 2008 as a business reporter and columnist specializing in housing and real estate and was promoted in 2015 to deputy business editor. She previously worked for the Chicago Sun-Times, Daily Southtown and Kokomo (Ind.) Tribune.
